This past weekend I was able to stop by the big event Megacon over in Orlando, and I had the pleasure to catch up with my buddy and friend Joel D Wynkoop. I was able to introduce my wife to him, along with my children. Like always he was a real pleasure to speak with. While at the show I got to take a few pictures, along with pick up one of his films called Lost Faith, which is a great action flick, and totally out there on the comedy aspect. My wife and I enjoyed it completely and can’t wait to see Joel again. At the end both my wife and I saw that he dedicated to his son, and we want to offer our own condolences to Joel. In the near future Space Coast Comixx will be interviewing the King of B-Movies, and we can’t wait to talk with him.

Here I have a good chat with my friend Malak!! Let’s help her out with her charity!!
I have had the opportunity to get to know Peter J. Pappas of Viera Comics. Peter who originally hails from NJ moved into the area over a year ago, and had a vision of opening a comic shop in the luscious Viera area. I was introduced by a friend of mine to Peter, and when we first talked I could feel that Peter had a kinetic spirit, a fiery outlook that would help him prevail. Peter, had a plan you see, and he was building his own comic book shop manifesto that included bringing great service, building a service, having a clean shop, keeping it brightly lit, and always catering to his customers. He filled his store with unique items such as toys, figures, statues along with comics.
Yet Peter went a step further and this was becoming a champion for the little guy, by giving to the community, and his willingness to help the community he made his home. Peter cares about his customers, about their needs, and he has gone to great strides to bring those that had no voice a voice within this community. He always helps promote new artist, struggling actors, podcasters, and so much more.
I’m happy I was able to meet Peter in the beginning and watch him flourish and I’m proud to call him friend. When we here at Space Coast Comixx ever grow up we want to be just like Peter. He is a hero in more ways than one. Keep up the great work buddy.
We hope to see you at his anniversary in the next few weeks. We’ll be there celebrating. WE CAN DO THIS!!
